If you’re the kind of person who likes being organised and doesn’t want to forget important dates, you’ll be happy to know you can pre-order flowerboxes for the next six months! Yes, just head to the website, select what you’d like to send, fill in the details on the checkout page and select the appropriate delivery date! Easy! (The delivery date calendar is available from now til July). If you’ve got a whole list of people you’d like to send flowers to during the year, then email me (julie@littleboxofflowers) and I’ll get it all organised for you. So you can spend your time on other things 😉 💐💜

There were so many Sympathy Flowerboxes delivered today 😢 We send our condolences to all who are grieving. 🤔I gave some thought to those suffering loss over the holidays. I thought how nice it would be to have a little “Thinking of You” gift package that could help provide additional comfort to flowers and something a little longer lasting. 🥺 So I’ve put together a photo frame for a favourite pic of their loved one, Vanilla Candle, a Typoflora Floral notebook to capture memoirs or notes and a succulent plant to nurture. (Swipe 👉🏻to see). I hope these beautiful blooms give some comfort and that hearts find some peace ❤️‍🩹

“What will my flowers look like❓“ That’s a question I often asked when I ordered flowers on a website. 😳

How to make flowers last longer. A little experiment whilst in ISO - how long did these flowers last? They were still looking good on Day 13 can you believe it? By Day 17 they’d definitely gone past their use by date. How did they last so long? Did I refresh the water every second day? Nope (don’t tell the florist 😉) Only once in 17 days! Did I put flower food in the water? Sugar? Bleach? Vodka? (Why waste it on flowers?😉) or a Penny in the water? (All old wives tales) Nope. Seventeen Days! Just placed them on the coffee table in a cool room (22degrees), away from windows and removed any dead flowers along the way. One water change. Perfect! ☺️
