We are starting to see some imported flowers coming through like these beautiful Kahala peach roses. It’s lovely to have some variety back especially as flower demand seems to be on the increase again. We’ll be back to our flowerboxes on Monday. NATIVES As we head into Winter and COVID19 continu NATIVES As we head into Winter and COVID19 continues to impact freight flights for imported flowers, we are seeing more natives from growers & wholesalers. We’ve teamed up some pretty peach banksia hookeriana with gum & tetra nuts, lisianthus, leucs, thryptomene, zinnias and a dash of peach hypericum for a pop more colour. Presented in our rustic big box with orange grosgrain ribbon, we think it would brighten up someone’s rainy, grey day! Would it for you?

RECHARGE & REPLENISH 🌸 Thank you so much for yo RECHARGE & REPLENISH 🌸 Thank you so much for your support, patience & understanding these past few weeks as we managed uncertainty with obtaining specific flowers. It’s amazing what you can do with what you have in front of you! Never have we seen cool rooms and markets so empty before. 💐 I thought it would be good to give you an update as to flower supplies and as we move into the Winter months. There is a shortage of some specific flowers. A number of imported flowers, such as roses, are very limited due to flight restrictions. On top of that they have increased in price by 30%. We have been using local Australian flowers where possible but of course, those supplies became depleted (especially after Mother’s Day) and need time to regrow. And, whilst they’re in demand, some prices have also risen. 🌻 Our goal is to continue to share the love & comfort through quality blooms and to share what we have with as many as possible. For this reason we may reduce the number of orders we accept each day until the end of the month in order to help replenish & recharge the flower industry at a more considered pace. We will also be removing the mixed bloom bouquet from our product range for a little while so the flowers we have can go further. 🌺 So, if you have important dates in mind to send flowers, I’d encourage you to hop online and pop in an order as soon as you can to avoid disappointment. We’d also like to thank you in advance for your understanding that we may not be able to supply specific flowers or colours over the next few weeks. We are just so happy that we can continue to make your family & friends days during these times and that you trust us to do that with the flowers we deliver. We hope that you are all well & staying safe. Thanks again for your support! It means the world to us.
BIG MUMMA There’s a reason why these big beautif BIG MUMMA There’s a reason why these big beautiful blooms are called ‘Big Mummas’ or Chrysanthemum disbuds. 🌸 Do you know how they become such a large headed bloom? Growers remove all other shoots so that the stem focuses on the one bloom and all it’s energy goes into that flower head. 🌺 We learned from this beautiful flower this week by focusing all our energy on the one task - getting orders to your loved ones. It was the biggest week in our LBoF history. Happy to say that’s all done, deliveries made and now for a little respite ...til tomorrow! 🌼 We hope your Mummas loved their flowerboxes yesterday, today and tomorrow. Thanks for your support! I think a glass of bubbly is in hand! 🍾
